Some Prometric Testing Centers Closing in Response to Isaias

Monday, August 03, 2020

As Isaias moves through the Atlantic Ocean and eastern states, some Prometric testing sites might be closed. We understand that this would be a great inconvenience for those who are scheduled to take their initial certifying subspecialty examination on Aug. 3.

If you are in an affected area and are scheduled to take an exam at a Prometric Testing Center, please visit the Prometric Site Closure list above. If your testing site is closed, there is nothing for you to do at this time. Prometric will work closely with physicians to find new appointment dates and times that work for their schedules, and they will waive any Prometric rescheduling fees.

As always, we encourage our pediatricians to remain focused — first and foremost — on the safety of their families and their patient care.

For more details about exam cancellations, visit our Computer-Based Administration Policy (PDF). For additional exam information related to COVID-19, visit our COVID-19 webpage.

If you have additional questions, please call our physician support center at 919-929-0461, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time.
