The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) has made it easier for pediatricians practicing in a patient-centered medical home to earn Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit for their efforts. MOC Part 4 credit for quality improvement (QI) is now available to pediatricians who participate in meaningful QI projects leading toward Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition from any organization that offers the recognition.

The credit, valued at 50 points, meets a physician’s quality improvement requirement for the cycle in which the recognition was received or renewed.
