NCQA, ABP Makes It Easier to Claim Credit

Wednesday, June 22, 2016 - 10:30

The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) acknowledges the complex and purposeful process of earning recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). ABP board-certified pediatricians can now claim credit for earning NCQA’s Patient-Centered Specialty Practice recognition.

Credit already is available for general practitioners earning NCQA’s Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition.

NCQA recognition, which can be awarded simply by completing an attestation form, is worth 40 Part 4 points toward Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements.
