Candidates seeking a certificate in the following disciplines must complete three years of fellowship and must meet the requirement for scholarly activity. BOTH the General Eligibility Criteria for Certification in the Pediatric Subspecialties and the Eligibility Criteria for the specific subspecialty must be met. The certifying examinations in the list immediately below are administered by the ABP.

The certifying examinations for these subspecialties are not administered by the ABP, but are administered by one of the co-sponsoring Boards. Training requirements and length of training vary by subspecialty. Candidates seeking certification do not have to meet the requirement for Scholarly Activity and the General Eligibility Criteria for Certification in the Pediatric Subspecialties does not apply.
